Ivan Ciro Palamino

PERU

Born on March 23, 1977, Es Visual graphic artist, graduate of the Faculty of Art and Design of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). In 2016, Ciro was awarded by the UN for winning the world contest "cartels por la paz", receiving the award at that time by the Secretary General of the UN: Ban Ki-moon in NY at the headquarters of the UN and he peace messenger Michael Douglas (125 countries participated, with more than 4000 works) In 2017 I won the UNESCO prize in the contest 17 objectives to transform our world.

That same year he participated in the contest: Las mejores ilustraciones Latinoamericanas organized by the University of Palermo in Argentina. There he obtained the shared prize "ENERGIA LATINA 2017" and was chosen to be featured in ¨COLORES LATINOS 2016 and later was invited to be part of the jury in 2020.

For 2018, he won the prize for the best project: Individual exhibition CONCIENCIA at the Bienal Peruana de Diseño.

Since that year Palomino started a visual project called “CONCIENCE”, illustrations focused on social themes such as climate change, lack of water, war, gender equality, among others. The shows were held in Lima (Perú), New York (USA), Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Porto Alegre and Florianópolis.

2021, the artist presents 2 illustrations entitled Eternal Pelé I and II, which form part of the Pelé Museum and Santos FC Museum respectively.

His exhibitions, both individual and collective, have been seen in countries such as the United States, Switzerland, Spain, Argentina, Romania, Brazil, China, Iran, Turkey, South Korea, Mexico, among others.
